Park Tool introduces three new socket and bit sets and smaller shop hammer

ST. PAUL, Minn. (BRAIN) — Park Tool has released three new socket and bit sets and a new, smaller shop hammer.

The HMR-8 hammer is the smaller sibling to Park's HMR-4. The HMR-8 has an 8-ounce head and 12-inch length, compared to the HMR-4, which is 13.5 inches long. The two-sided hmmer has one precision machined steel striking face and one non-marring, replaceable composite tip. It has a fiberglass shaft with soft touch grip. MSRP is $16.95. The replacement tip's part number is # 293-8.

The SBS-1.2 is a shop quality set of 3/8-inch drive sockets, hex bits and Torx-style bits, selected for common bike repair needs. They are made of chrome vanadium steel. The set includes:

• 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10mm hex bits

• Long Reach 5 and 6mm hex bits

• Long Reach T25, T30 and T40 Torx style bits

• 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15mm and 1-inch sockets (The nch1-i socket fits various Park Tool freewheel, cassette lockring, and bottom bracket tools)
