Grypmat tool mat exceeds Kickstarter goal, begins pre-sales

Published February 3, 2017

TOLEDO, Ohio (BRAIN) — Grypshon Industries wrapped up a very successful Kickstarter campaign Friday for its grippy tool tray, the Grypmat. The company received pledges of $113,433, far exceeding the $10,000 goal for the campaign.

The Grypmat is made of a sticky, flexible material that holds tools and adheres to work surfaces. Its developer comes from the aircraft industry, but is marketing the product for use by all sorts of mechanics, including bike mechanics, as show in the image above from the Kickstarter camapign page.

Kickstarter supporters were offered a tray for a $25 pledge. Now that the Kickstarter campaign is over, the company is accepting pre-orders at igg.me/at/grypmat.
