BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (BRAIN) — 45NRTH is expanding and updating its line of winter cycling footwear with the release of the Japanther wet weather cycling boot, which will replace the discontinued Fasterkatt boot model.

The Japanther is intended for shoulder season and mild winter conditions, with a suggested temperature range of 25 degrees (Farenheit) and higher. They provides a high level of water resistance, moisture regulation and comfort in a performance cycling shoe.

They are constructed with a waterproof membrane and rubberized shell that extends above the ankle. They will be arriving at retailers in late September in sizes 36-50 (no size 49) in both 2-bolt mountain and 3-bolt road outsoles. Road and mountain versions will retail for $225.
