New book tells how Rebecca Rusch became the Queen of Pain

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Rebecca Rusch's new book tells how she went from being a normal kid in Chicago to a woman known as the Queen of Pain for her perseverence as a relentlessly fast runner, paddler, and mountain bike racer.

In Rusch to Glory: Adventure, Risk & Triumph on the Path Less Traveled, Rusch tells her life's story, including her career as a professional athlete in climbing, adventure racing, whitewater rafting, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking.

The new book from VeloPress was written with Selene Yeager. The paperback is 256 pages with a color photo section. Retail is $18.95.
