Published October 8, 2013

IRVINE, CA (BRAIN) — Shimano has added new shoes and pedals options to its Click'R product line, which is aimed at beginner cyclists and commuters. The Click'R line was introduced last year and features a revised SPD clipless technology with a lighter spring, an elevated catch to engage the cleat more easily and a reduced clip-out angle.

The new pedals introduced this year are the $79 PD-T420 and the PD-MT50, also $79.

The PD-T420 is dual-sided, with the Click’R SPD binding on one side and a flat pedal on the other.

The PD-MT50 is a recreational mountain bike style that features a wider integrated cage for mud shedding with traction spikes.

A new shoes in the line is the $130 SH-UT70, for recreational cyclists and commuters featuring traditional lacing with an additional top strap to tuck laces. Existing shoes in the Click'R line will be available in new brighter colors.
