SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Lezyne has extended its sponsorship of Danny MacAskill, which began in 2012.
"It's a great partnership for us," says Dillon Clapp, Lezyne's communication manager. "He has a massive following, and he genuinely believes in the products he supports. The partnership has been huge for us."
Starting in 2017, Danny will be one of Lezyne's featured ambassadors for its GPS units. The company said he will promote the GPS category in addition to the rest of Lezyne's products, including multi-tools, shop tools, pumps, tire repair and LED lights.
MacAskill recently completed a trip up and down Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa at 19,341 feet, where he made use of his Lezyne GPS. A video is below.
MacAskill said, "I'm excited to continue my partnership with Lezyne and to also use their new GPS cycling computers. They will prove invaluable as I continue to expand my riding to include more all mountain adventures."
