Anne Guethoff joins e-bike company Brose as director of marketing

BERLIN (BRAIN) — German e-bike company Brose has hired Anne Guethoff as its new director of marketing. Guethoff has diverse marketing management and sales integration experience at companies including Johnson & Johnson, Essilor Transitions and Rodenstock.

She most recently built and managed a marketing consultancy in Sydney. Over the past five years, she supported international clients, especially in the bicycle market, with marketing strategy and execution services.

Brose supplies its drive unit to manufacturers, including Specialized, Rotwild, Bulls and BH Bikes. The company has been focused on product optimisation and distribution during its first two years in the bike market. For 2016 the company said it will turn it attention to marketing, service and partner support.

"Support activities and tools for our partner OEMs and retailers are at the top of my agenda," Guethoff said. "Additionally, the Brose brand and our unique story will become much more visible — also to the consumer."

The company said she will work closely with Christoph Bantle, Brose's managing director, and Marco Klimmt, its director of sales.
