Published July 25, 2014

LONDON (BRAIN) — Future plc, which in May sold off its cycling magazines and websites, including CyclingNews.com and BikeRadar.com, announced Friday that it is selling its last remaining endurance sports title, Triathlon Plus magazine.

Future is selling Triathlon Plus along with a cluster of automobile magazines and associated websites to Kelsey Publishing Limited for £2.1 million ($3.6 million). The titles sold include Fast Car, Fast Ford, Classic Ford, Classics Monthly, Total Vauxhall, Mini Magazine, Triathlon Plus, Classic Ford Show, Ford Fair, Japfest, Japfest 2: The Evolution, Performance Vauxhall Show, TRAX: The Ultimate Performance Car Event and associated websites. The sale is expected to be completed next month.

Future said the latest sale continues its strategy or refocusing on the consumer technology market.

U.K.-based Kelsey Publishing, founded in 1989, has about 40 media titles related to lifestyle, fitness, homes, aviation, trucks, tractors, cars and pets. It owns at least one title related to endurance sports: Running Fitness magazine.
