SAN FRANCISCO (BRAIN) — Rad Power has reached a settlement with a man who said his Rad Runner Plus e-bike caused him to fall and sustain injuries and damage property. The case is the Superior Court of California in San Francisco.
Lawyers for both sides told the court on Monday that they had reached a settlement and asked to dismiss the case of Anthony Reyna vs. Rad Power Bikes Inc. A dismissal hearing was scheduled for Feb. 24, 2026.
Reyna sued Rad Power Bikes in 2023, claiming his e-bike came to an abrupt stop because of a construction and/or manufacturing defect. He said he was thrown from the bike and sustained injuries, experienced wage losses and reduced earning capacity, and incurred hospital and medical expenses.
