Club Ride sales more than double in 2013

KETCHUM, Idaho (BRAIN) — Clothing brand Club Ride is reporting sales of $1.7 million last year, a 119 percent increase over 2012, when the company's net sales were $779,000.

The privately held company voluntarily publishes its sales figures.

Soberanis hired as 'chief accelerator' at NuVinci

CEDAR PARK, Texas (BRAIN) — Fallbrook Technologies, the manufacturer of NuVinci continuously variable planetary drivetrains, has hired Rick Soberanis as its "chief accelerator of sales and business development" for bike North America. Soberanis started working with Fallbrook's NuVinci bicycle division on Feb. 2.
