SAKA, Japan (BRAIN) — Mountain Bike Hall of Famer Junzo Kawai has died at age 94. Kawai, former president of Suntour, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.

VISTA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Electra Bicycle Company is planning to move closer to the coast by fall. The Southern California-based company, which was acquired early this year by Trek, announced that it will move back to the beach where the brand was started more than 20 years ago.

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Bell Helmets has unveiled a new aero road helmet. The Star Pro features "Active-Aero" technology, allowing riders to regulate airflow, temperature and aero efficiency on the fly with a simple slider mechanism that opens or closes its vents, the company says.
