UK bike brand, Whyte, to sell consumer direct in US

LAS VEGAS (BRAIN) — Jason Faircloth, a former vice president at Marin Bikes, is launching a new company selling Whyte brand bikes consumer direct in the U.S. Whyte is a U.K.-based brand that's been around since 1999.

MADISON, Wis. (BRAIN) — Trek Bicycles has announced that it is the first North American distributor of Unior Tools, which are made in Slovenia. The agreement was first announced at Trek World last month.

NICA adds four new state leagues

LAS VEGAS (BRAIN) — The National Interscholastic Cycling Association has added new leagues in Arkansas, New Jersey, North Carolina and Pennsylvania, bringing it to 19 total leagues for high school and middle school mountain bike racing. The organization announced the new leagues at Interbike on Wednesday.

Zeitbike to distribute Knog locks in US

VENTURA, Calif. (BRAIN) — The Austrailian brand Knog has announced that Zeitbike will be its exclusive lock distributor in the U.S.

Knog had announced earlier in the year that Highway Two has taken over its light distribution.
