SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Retailers looking to make a splash with their window displays can project nearly anything — including videos or websites — onto their front window with technology from ProDisplay USA. An optional touch screen feature would allow passersby to interact with the display.
The technology is used by a variety of retailers, including real estate offices. It costs between $7,000 and $15,000 depending on options. Leases are also available and the company said that in other industries, suppliers often subsidize the displays for their retailers through co-op advertising programs.
The system includes a projector, a window-mounted screen (which is a film attached to the inside of the glass), and a source for content, such as a computer that can be set to show a video, live video feed, ad, website, PowerPoint or scenic or product images.
ProDisplay USA works with local installation teams around the country or can send company installers to the installation.
