BTAC appoints Bill Yetman executive director

TORONTO, Canada (BRAIN) — The Bicycle Trade Association of Canada has appointed Bill Yetman as its new executive director. Yetman is replacing Janet O'Connell-Bauer, who is moving on after 12 years with the association.

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — Bikes Belong is in line for a $250,000 grant from Chase Community Giving and the organization is asking the bike community for votes to push it over the top in the grant program.

CRESTED BUTTE, CO (BRAIN) — Gary Sjoquist, the director of QBP's advocacy program, has been elected to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame, which is in Crested Butte. He will be officially inducted into the Hall at a ceremony during the Interbike show in Las Vegas later this month.

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — The Taiwan Bicycle Exporters Association has committed to another three-year, $150,000 investment in the Bikes Belong Foundation. This will bring TBEA's total contribution to $300,000 by 2015.
