Triathlon LAB sold to Robert Keating

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. (BRAIN) — Multisport retailer Triathlon LAB, Inc. has been sold to Robert Keating, the a longtime employee and former special operations director. The store was founded by Lloyd and Teresa Taylor in 2003.

"It has been our honor to have served the Los Angeles triathlon community for the last 15 years and I am extremely thankful for all the love and support I have received during this time," said Lloyd Taylor. 

Keating, who has worked for the store for 15 years, is a former U.S. Army Medic in the 1st Armored Division, USA cycling coach, certified yoga and stationary cycling instructor, group exercise director of various military rehab programs, and a multi-time Ironman finisher.

"I am very fortunate to receive opportunity to stand on (the Taylors') shoulders. They've been true friends and supportive employers for 15 years," said Keating. "Their finish line has been crossed this 15th year. It's been a very good run. The baton has been handed over. This is now a relay race and I am looking forward to leading the next leg."
