AUSTIN, TX (BRAIN)—Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong has decided to open up a bike shop in Austin, Texas. It will open in May.
"This city is exploding downtown. Are all these people in high rises going to drive everywhere? We have to promote (bike) commuting," Armstrong said Wednesday, in an Austin American Statesman newspaper article. "This can be a hub for that."
