FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN) — Veloine, a three-year-old Munich brand devoted to women's cycling apparel, has won a Eurobike Gold award for its Pregnancy Cycling Kit.
"Farewell to the myth that cycling women don’t continue the sport during pregnancy. These shorts and jersey from Veloine solve a problem that the industry has ignored for far too long," Eurobike judges said.
The shorts and jersey feature a very soft fabric with low compression. The shorts have an extended waistband that covers a growing belly.
The kit is sold as shorts, jersey, or a bundle, for 150, 150 and 250 euros (about $178, $178 and $296), respectively. The brand sells D2C worldwide. The kit also won an award at the ISPO show earlier this year.
