PLEASANT VALLEY, MO (BRAIN) — Paceline Products Inc. announced Thursday that it will be distributing the HeadsUp Systems Wireless Gear Alert System, which warns drivers before they smash their roof racks into garage doors.
The $169 system includes an LED alert sign that mounts inside the garage and wireless tags that attach to bikes or other gear, combined with an in-car alert. When the driver returns home, the sign in the garage flashes and the in-car alert makes a sound.
“I believe in this product," said Paceline president Steve Mathews. "It can save a consumer thousands of dollars worth of damage to their car, their bikes and other expensive recreational equipment. Once consumers have a chance to use it, I believe it can become a very common accessory for those who carry their recreational equipment on top of their car."
