Form Cycles Offering Titus Repairs

Published November 10, 2010

SEDONA, AZ (BRAIN)—In an effort to help Titus dealers during this time of transition, Form Cycles is offering their services to dealers to help keep customers riding. They can repair cracked head tubes and other frame and dropout issues on any Titus titanium bike, but they cannot offer help with Titus’ aluminum frames.

“All of us here worked at Titus and we still use some Titus jigs for our own production,” said Daryl Roberts, who founded Form Cycle in the fall of ’08 and was an engineer and designer at Titus for more than two years. Form Cycle welder Sam Davis worked three years at Titus and Shawn Morra, Form Cycle machinist, also headed up machining at Titus for three years.

“I know what it is like for a dealer to have a good customer that needs a repair but not know where to turn. We obviously cannot offer free warranty service but we would be happy to work something out with dealers,” Roberts said.

Form Cycle’s expertise is manufacturing titanium and stainless steel high-end custom bikes, but the trio has extensive experience with Titus’ titanium bikes, hardtail and full-suspension. Roberts says they could easily reproduce many of the small parts needed on those bikes but will not do so until obtaining authorization from Titus’ new owners. The company can be reached at info@formcycles.com or (928) 284-1569.
