A recent WSJ article headline said “Looking To Grow, JC Penney Tries To Carve New Niches”. It’s Penney’s new fangled strategy to try and salvage their “stuck in the middle” dying retail model.
Segway Degree #1 : Then I glanced down at a shot of the CEO touring a NY Penney’s store on a Segway and blew a galactic gasket! Unless he’s got some affliction, despite his seemingly trim and healthy looks I’d say he’s too lazy to tour his stores by foot? You know how I feel about this death machine, it’s just wrong!
