When I rolled into BRAIN Global Headquarters this morning Marc was back from his ski hut trip. We spent a few minutes getting caught up and when RT arrived, launched into an impromptu philosophical and strategic discussion on how to evolve BRAIN. As we all know, the publishing world is at the forefront of a sea change in the way people access and use information. The internet has provided many new opportunities and challenged old paradigms. There’s plenty of places to find information on the sport, read product reviews, or just share a love of the bicycle. BRAIN’s niche is B2B information for the bike industry. We truly want to help retailers and suppliers do business more effectively. While I’m confident in the space we occupy in the bike industry, we don’t want to become complacent. And so I turn to you, our readers. What do you want to see in the magazine? What information is going to help you do business better? Should we do more or less of something? Do you need more statistics, more financials? Do you need access to back issues online? Do you need more sales training materials for your staff? Help us provide the tools you need for a successful 2009 and beyond. We’re listening…..
