SANTA FE, N.M. (BRAIN) — Bicycle Technologies International is now offering free shipping to dealers in the lower 48 states who place orders of at least $450. The distributor's previous minimum for free shipping was $600.
The company said there are no exclusions for oversized goods and no maximum on shipping expense as a percentage of the order.
"Free shipping is now within reach for more shops," said BTI founder Preston Martin. "We know shipping costs erode dealer margins. True free shipping is one more way BTI is going above and beyond for the IBD."
BTI continues to ship orders from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Orders from shops in UPS zones 4-6 are automatically upgraded to UPS 3Day Air service at no additional cost. BTI also recently extended its order cutoff times to 3 p.m. Mountain Time. Dealers in the Pacific time zone are allowed one additional hour for cutoff.
