BOISE, Idaho (BRAIN) — Quality Bicycle Products has boosted its service in the Western U.S. by hiring Tim Kelley to lead its Western regional sales team from his office here. Kelley comes to QBP from K-Edge, where he was global sales and marketing manager.
Kelley will oversee QBP's growing team of outside sales reps and account managers. "It's an exciting time to represent QBP as it expands west," Kelley said. "Our commitment to bike shops has never been stronger with the opening of Q-Reno, the Dealer's Choice program and our growing portfolio of in-house brands."
Q-Reno is the company's new Western distribution center, set to open Dec. 10 in Nevada, while Dealer's Choice is a new retail program QBP launched at Interbike and promoted this week at its inaugural Biketoberfest East Coast dealer event held at the company's Lancaster, Pennsylvania, distribution center.
