Zeitbike to distribute Knog locks in US

Published September 16, 2015

VENTURA, Calif. (BRAIN) — The Austrailian brand Knog has announced that Zeitbike will be its exclusive lock distributor in the U.S.

Knog had announced earlier in the year that Highway Two has taken over its light distribution.

"Our locks combine security and design like no others in the market," Knog CEO Hugo Davidson said. "The simple, but very big job we have is to get our locks into retailers' hands. Because once they see them, and understand the technical advantages, they get the value proposition of the products including their top margins."

"That's why we're excited to partner with Zeitbike in the U.S. Fritz understands locks, having worked with ABUS for years. If he says consumers will love the locks, it's calculated, not purely a hunch. And he knows what retailers will need to sell them."

Fritz Bohl launched Zeitbike distribution at the end of 2014. "Knog fits the Zeitbike stable perfectly. Most other lock brands aren't pushed to innovate as much as a specialized design brand like Knog. With a range of locks that tick more boxes than the competition, whether it's our easy to wrap fiber-core silicone locks, or the Sold Secure Gold "Strongman," there's a great range for retailers to choose from. It's gonna be fun!"
