LAKE FOREST, Calif. (BRAIN) – Torcano Industries is now distributing Cycle Group Inc.'s Promax and BOX Components brands.
CGI is a Southern California-based supplier of aftermarket bicycle components under the BOX and Promax brand names. CGI is led by U.S. Bicycling Hall of Famer Toby Henderson.
"We are really excited to be working with Torcano," said Henderson. "I've know these guys for years and trust that they can use their strong relationships with retailers to help us build the BOX and Promax brands."
CGI is looking to establish itself in the mountain bike market with the introduction of carbon handlebars, stems, seatposts, disc brakes, wheels; and early in 2016, a range of rear derailleurs and shifters.
"After meeting with Toby it became clear that we shared the same vision for their brands moving forward," said John Denson, CEO of Torcano Industries. "The perception is that BOX and Promax are just limited to BMX, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Toby has designed some of the most innovative MTB accessories out there today in a wide array of colors with unbelievable packaging, truly meeting the demands of today's most discerning riders. It's going to be our job to make sure these same consumers are able to get this product at their local bike shops."
