South Carolina-based distributor will open its third U.S. distribution center soon in an unannounced location.

LEXINGTON, S.C. (BRAIN) — Hawley plans to open a new distribution center in the Northeast soon, to complement its centers in Sparks, Nevada, and Lexington, South Carolina.

The Hawley-Lambert Board of Directors has given final approval to move forward with the plan. The company will announce the distribution center's exact location and opening date after it signs a lease.

"Hawley is committed to providing our dealers a wide-ranging elevated level of service," said Ian Cross, the company's sales director. "We now have 30 outside territory managers providing complete national sales coverage in order to assist our vendors and IBD’s in optimizing their businesses. A third distribution center allows us to meet our dealers’ expectations of fast, efficient, cost effective delivery in a critical region of the US. We are excited to serve our customers better with this new northeast center."

Steve Hawley, the company's president, said opening of the Northeast warehouse will allow Hawley to offer next-day ground delivery from Miami to Boston and as far west as Birmingham, Alabama, and Columbus, Ohio.
