Distribution alternative Rumbleship adds three new brands

Published May 27, 2014

SAN FRANCISCO (BRAIN) — Rumbleship, a bicycle-product "distribution platform," has added three new brands, all mountain bike suppliers, to its offerings: E-Thirteen, Loaded Precision and WickWerks.

Rumbleship is an unusual distribution model; it does not inventory products but bundles dealer orders and facilitates drop shipments from suppliers to bike shops.

The company now works with nearly 50 brands, including Syntace, Nuun, Kenda, IRC, Clean Bottle and Chub (complete list).

"For the spring of 2014, we wanted to widen the breadth of our mountain bike offerings so that dealers have greater choice in the products they can offer their customers. We're excited to have partnered with these brands who are looking to expand their dealer bases," said Isaac Sparling, Rumbleship's founder.
