Downeast website adds more flexible retail ticket feature

Published April 28, 2014

FRYEBURG, Maine (BRAIN) — Downeast Bicycle Specialists has updated its website with a more flexible feature to produce retail price stickers.

Downeast's new retail ticket user interface allows retailers to set retail prices on the tickets one of three ways: by custom markups linked to user-defined wholesale cost ranges; by MSRP; or manually.

Buyers will be able to set all ticket prices automatically by selecting either the MSRP or calculated value method, and then they can switch to the manual method to tweak ticket prices. All retail ticket prices and margins will be shown in the shopping cart, and buyers using manual pricing will be able to adjust ticket prices, and see the resulting margins, prior to checkout. Buyers will also be able to upload ticket information from a CSV file if they would prefer.

Buyers can request that tickets be applied to product prior to shipment, or they can ask that tickets be included with the order.
