BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — The first winner of the Bell Built grant program for 2014 has been selected. The Ft. Tuthill Bike Park in Flagstaff, Ariz., will be one of three winning projects that will split the $100,000 in trail-building grants distributed by Bell Helmets. The other two projects, in the Central and Eastern region, are yet to be determined.

Ft. Tuthill rallied up the most votes on Bell's Facebook page, 8,037 votes. The grant money will help fund the construction of the beginner and intermediate trails at the proposed bike project, which will be open to the public.

Meanwhile, voting for the Central region winner is now live. The public can view and vote on all the projects on the Bell Built site. Voting continues through May 4; the winner will be announced on May 5.
