SAN DIEGO (BRAIN) — Industry vet Tim Jackson has left Focus Bicycles, where he was North American marketing manager.
"It wasn’t my decision to leave, though I understand the reasoning behind the decision made by others," he said.
Jackson joined Focus in the fall of 2012. His previous positions included being marketing manager at BH Bicycles/Pivot and category manager at Advanced Sports International. Prior to that he was the longtime marketing manager at Masi Bicycle.
Jackson said he's been contacted by several potential new employers and is considering launching a consulting business. "But one thing is for sure — I'm not leaving this stupid industry. I'm a lifer!" he told BRAIN on Monday.
