Two bikes stolen from Hi-Torque Publications

Published March 6, 2014

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Hi-Torque Publications, publisher of Road Bike Action, Mountain Bike Action, Electric Bike Action and BMX Plus magazines, said Thursday that two bikes were stolen from its Santa Clarita office last week. It's asking the cycling community, especially in the Southern California area, to spread the word to local bike shops.

The stolen bikes are a Specialized Turbo electric bike, size large, red with black accents and logos, and a Cipollini RB1000 carbon fiber road bike, size large/56cm, black with white logos, with Campagnolo Record EPS components. The serial number on the Cipollini is 0417B42BE5.

"Both bikes are quite rare, so they should be easy to spot when they turn up, especially as they each require battery chargers to fully function," Hi-Torque stated in a release.

Anyone with information about the bikes is urged to call (661) 295-1910.
