QBP adds outside sales reps

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (BRAIN) Quality Bicycle Products has added four new outside sales reps.

Greg Patterson will cover QBP's southeast territory, including eastern Tennessee, North and South Carolina, southern Virginia, and northern Georgia. Patterson started with QBP in 2009 as an account executive and moved on to sales roles with Ridley, Lazer, and Fulcrum. He spent the last few years as sales manager for Surly Bikes.

Doug Ritter will cover Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso, Texas. Ritter is is well known in his southwestern U.S. territory, and brings over 35 years of industry experience to QBP. A former pro mechanic for the Motorola Cycling Team, Ritter has been a U.S. rep for Avocet, Proflex, Felt, Colnago, Easton, and others with DDR Sales, Inc., an independent rep company he founded with his wife, Nancy. 

Pat Gore will serve QBP dealers in the mid-Atlantic region. Gore has been a buyer, salesman, race team manager, and store manager for shops throughout his career, and he races mountain bikes. He has also worked as a camp counselor at Trails End Mountain Bike Camp in Baltimore.

Rob Comfort will cover shops in Illinois, Eastern Wisconsin, and Michigan's upper peninsula. Comfort spent the last year and a half as the national sales manager for Whisky Parts Co. and Foundry Cycles. Prior to working at QBP, he worked in the ski and marina industries, and in the business development and international logistics fields.
