AVONDALE, AZ (BRAIN) — Santini U.S., the American subsidiary of the Italian clothing maker, will begin importing Ambrosio wheels and rims from Italy, effective immediately.
Ambrosio has been manufacturing aluminum rims in Solaro, Milan for over 80 years. The company is most famous for its Nemesis tubular rim, used by many pro road racers for the cobbled classics. The Nemesis is available as part of the brand's Riene du Norde wheelset.
The company is a third-generation family business that makes 50 different SKUs of aluminum rims and aluminum and carbon wheels.
Santini U.S. will stock some Ambrosio wheel and rim models at its Arizona distribution center, and will give U.S. dealers access to the entire Ambrosio catalog via special order. Santini also will coordinate Ambrosio’s OEM program for U.S.-based bicycle manufacturers.
