MEQUON, WI (BRAIN) — Hayes Bicycle Group is ending its relationship with Canadian distributor Trident Performance Sports; its Answer and Manitou products will now be distributed in Canada by QBP International, the company announced Friday.
“We thank Trident for their years of sales and service to the Canadian market,” said Adam Micklin, Hayes' director of global sales. The relationship with Trident ended July 1.
Service and warranty support for Answer and Manitou products in Canada will be managed through S4 Suspension Works in Quebec. Canadian retailers also have the option of returning warranty forks and shocks directly to the Hayes Global Service Center in Wisconsin.
Hayes' SUNringlé and Hayes Disc Brakes will continue to be sold and serviced in Canada through Norco, while Wheelsmith sales and service will be handled through Orange.
