Rocky Mountain works with agency on new 'brand blueprint'

Published January 11, 2013

WHISTLER, BC (BRAIN) — Rocky Mountain Bicycles is working with a new creative agency to develop a new website and hone its brand positioning.

The bike company said it chose Origin Design + Communications in part because the agency shared its connections to Whistler and to Montreal. The bilingual marketing, creative and communications firm specializes in outdoor sports and works with brands including Salomon Sports, Whistler Blackcomb, Jay Peak and The North Face. Origin's client roster also includes the Mountain Bike Tourism Association of BC, IMBA Canada, Bike Parks of BC and the Whistler Mountain Bike Park.

"The new relationship will see the development of a blueprint that will ensure RMB's brand is articulated clearly and resonates equally from East Coast to West, from the R&D lab to the trails, from the dealers and distributors to head office," said Francis Argouin, Rocky Mountain Bicycle's marketing director.

Origin expects to launch the new website this spring.
