RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA (BRAIN) — Serfas is distributing Swiss high-end shoe brand Suplest in the U.S., the company has announced.
Suplest shoes retail in the $250 to $350 range, while Serfas' own branded shoes top out at about $180. Serfas will stock about 60 percent of the Suplest product line, which will be available in January.
“We feel Suplest complements our new line of Serfas shoes quite well,” said John Denson, general manager for Serfas. “Suplest shoes compete at the ultra-high-end level, and are already a premium high-end European shoe. We most definitely feel Suplest will compete against other upper echelon shoe brands in the United States.”
Suplest was founded in 2007. Its new Supzero line features an "Organic Grid" micro-fiber material, which is said to be extremely light and comfortable. This allows Suplest to select areas that need greater reinforcement to keep the foot stable, while other areas are thinner to increase overall comfort.
