ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (BRAIN) — Organizers of the first Action Outdoor & Bike Expo say their first show was a success and they are planning a series of four shows for 2014.
The first event, held August 22-23 in Atlantic City, featured snow, skate, surf and outdoor brands and retailers. The show had 85 exhibitors representing 115 brands, and it drew retailers from up and down the East Coast.
"We exceeded expectations for this first-time event," said Jay Driscoll, Action Outdoor & Bike publisher and director. "Our unique mix of products from the action sports, outdoor and bike markets gave retailers the opportunity to add new product lines to their store, while still meeting with their current vendors. We're excited for 2013 and are looking forward to four great events next year."
Next year organizers plan four shows: January 16-17 in Atlantic City, February 6-7 in Los Angeles, July 10-11 in Los Angeles and August 21-22 back in Atlantic City.
