BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) Tuesday June 26 2012—Polar Bottle has inked a deal with organizers of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge to make its products the official water bottles of the event this year and next.

The USAPCC, August 2-26, is a top level pro stage race around Colorado. Polar Bottle is based in Boulder, which hosts the finish of the race's penultimate stage.

"It’s great to have world-class stage racing back in Colorado and last year’s race proved that our state is the perfect venue," said polar president Judy Amabile. "We’re extremely excited to help the event continue to grow.”

Polar Bottle has created a variety of custom bottles designed specifically for this year’s race.  The designs are inspired by each of the five leader’s jerseys. Polar will have a presence at each stage.

Serfas celebrates 20th with new logo

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA (BRAIN) Tuesday June 26——Serfas is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and the company has unveiled a new logo to celebrate the milestone.

General manager John Denson said for the past two years the company has focused on research and development, tooling and molds. “With all of this focus into products, we feel the timing is perfect to change up the logo a bit to more of an icon, and to remove any perception that Serfas is just a saddle company that dabbles in other product categories,” said Denson.

The company’s first two products in 1992 were the gel saddles called Tailbones. Now Serfas stocks tires, eyewear, shoes, pumps, computers and, more recently, high-powered lights.

Serfashas recently added 5,500 square feet to its building for additional storage, as well as running night crews to deliver product.
