SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN) Monday June 4 2012 12:33 PM MT—Interbike will add a custom-builder area and will feature new products in a special section called The LAB at its 2012 show, scheduled for September 19-21 in Las Vagas.

Beside the custom builder display area, The LAB will feature twice as many fashion shows as last year, more food options and the return of the Circulus mini velodrome. The LAB area also will host the demo track and electric bike test area. All educational seminars and presentations will be held at The LAB.

“According to our post-show surveys, one of the top reasons retailers come to Interbike is to find that new and different product to sell,” said Pat Hus, Interbike’s managing director. “The LAB was designed to offer that and more. The educational content will be expanded as we host on-floor seminars on the fashion show stage in-between shows. We want to encourage retailers to spend time in The LAB and take advantage of all of the new and enhanced offerings at the 2012 show.”

The LAB will be adjacent to the Health+Fitness Business Expo.

Interbike said attendees will enjoy a greater variety of food options and more places to sit than in previous years. The Pub will offer fast food such as pizza, burgers and beer, while The Café will offer healthy alternatives including a salad bar, sushi, sandwiches and a baked potato bar.
