Saris to offer free brats and bike parking at Brat Fest

MADISON, WI (BRAIN) Thursday May 24 2012 4:29 PM MT—Saris Cycling Group is encouraging bratwurst fans to ride their bikes to events at this weekend's World's Largest Brat Fest in Madison.

Saris will again be providing all bicycle parking for Brat Fest, and is partnering with DreamBikes and B-Cycle to host additional bike activities from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the bike tent, including bike maintenance and commuter education. Saris will also be providing a free brat for everyone who bikes to the Brat-Thru on Friday.

“Brat Fest is a fantastic event, and we feel it’s even better when you ride your bike,” said Heather Fortune, Saris' advocacy coordinator. “You get free bike parking at Brat Fest, a free brat at the Brat-Thru, free tips on bicycle maintenance, and since bicycle commuting burns an average of 520 calories per hour, biking to the Brat-Thru equals a guilt-free brat.”
