Munich's Bike Expo Seeks Retailers

Published May 17, 2011

MUNICH, Germany (BRAIN)—Bike Expo is looking to attract retailers to the third-year tradeshow this summer in Munich with a new professional training program, and a discount ticket offer for shops’ customers.

The schedule includes manufacturer workshops by SR Suntour and Hostettler and the training program by Extra Energy, as well as the ISPO Innovation Forum and the International Bicycle Developers’ Congress.

Bike Expo is also offering retailers a decoration package with posters and flyers featuring a special offer code. When a customer uses this offer code while purchasing a ticket to Bike Expo, he/she receives a 40 percent ticket discount. This allows retailers to pass on an additional benefit to their customers. One-day tickets cost 8 euros or 10 euros at the door.

Bike Expo, which starts with a demo day on July 20 and runs through July 24, has partnered with Biretco, Europe’s second largest retail organization. The Dutch Biretco will invite its members to Bike Expo and plans future trade show participation with a special exhibit booth. Germany’s ZEG buying group has a large presence at Bike Expo.

The show is organized by Messe München International. For more information go to www.bike-expo.com.
