Published March 30, 2011

NANJING, China (BRAIN)—The inaugural Asia Bike tradeshow has already attracted big industry names such as Look, Mavic, Shimano, Pearl Izumi and Specialized to exhibit at the late July show at the Nanjing International Expo Center.

The show, which runs from July 27-30, is organized by Nanjing Nantex International Exhibition Center and the German Messe Exhibition Consulting, whose shareholders are Messe Friedrichshafen—owner of Eurobike—Asia Outdoor Marketing and Beijing’s Climber Huide Exhibition Service.

It will be held as part of the larger Asia Outdoor show. That show, now in its sixth year, will occupy 35,000 square meters of space in three halls while the first Asia Bike will be in a separate, 12,000-square-meter hall.

Other exhibitors include French eyewear brand Bolle, which will show its redesigned sport glasses, Tyrell, the top sports bike brand in Germany, Catlike and DT Swiss. More than 200 exhibitors are expected in total for the first show.
