BLOOMINGTON, MN (BRAIN)—Jason Gaikowski has joined QBP as the director of marketing.
Gaikowski spent the past two years leading strategy and innovation for VML, named the top ranked U.S. Interactive Agency by Forrester Research, according to a press release. Previously, he served as senior vice president, group director of brand strategy for Young & Rubicam Inc. in New York.
A former bike mechanic, frame builder and bike shop owner, Gaikowski has deep roots in the industry and remains a passionate mountain and cyclocross racer.
“For this critical role, we felt it was essential to hire a passionate cyclist with the expertise and leadership to challenge and elevate the impact of marketing for QBP and our portfolio of brands,” said Steve Flagg, president of QBP. “During his career he has worked with many of the nationʼs top consumer brands. It is clear that he is a strong addition to our culture.”
With a history of building highly collaborative and productive teams, Gaikowski is focused on creating a strong partnership between the marketing, product development, and brand teams.
