Felt Launches New Web Site

Published October 18, 2009

IRVINE, CA (BRAIN)—Felt Bicycles has launched a new Web site to coincide with its 2010 product line. The new site (click on link) features an improved visual presentation, more dynamic product displays and a more intuitive, streamlined system of navigating Felt’s diverse bicycle and parts offerings. Technical enhancements to the new site include an updated dealer search tool and improved parts ordering function.

“Felt’s 2010 product line is our best ever, and this improved new web platform is the best possible way to present individual products and other brand news and developments to our consumers and dealers,” said Felt marketing director Doug Martin. “We put a lot of emphasis on bringing the brand and the products to life with more dynamic photography, graphics and navigation.”

In addition to improved product presentation, the new site includes dealer-specific features such as Felt Workshop instructional video seminars and the Felt Resource Center, which houses photos and other marketing support materials.

Beyond that, the new site places greater emphasis on content and information connected to the Felt brand. With a deep roster of sponsored pro teams and athletes in road, triathlon, mountain bike and BMX, Felt is constantly updating news and information on its home page.

“With so many pros riding Felt—from Garmin-Slipstream road racers to Olympians in triathlon and track racing to grassroots mountain bike teams—our athletes are making news virtually every day,” said Martin. “Our Web site gets a lot of traffic and this is our best opportunity to present the stories that define who we are.”

A big part of the Felt story revolves around advancements in technology, and the new site will also feature up-to-the-minute stories and videos aimed at making complex engineering and technical topics such as carbon fiber, suspension and aerodynamics easy for retailers and consumers to understand.

Felt has also launched a separate new site for its 2010 BMX line, which can be accessed through the main Felt site at www.feltbicycles.com or at www.feltbmx.com.
