PHILADELPHIA, PA (BRAIN)—Advanced Sports, Inc. has hired four new employees including Tim Edwards as director of operations, Luke Elrath as Breezer brand manager, Paul DelBuono as product services manager and Barrett James as compliance administrator.
Edwards’ new role will create logistic efficiencies at ASI with regards to warehouse and inventory control, as well as develop practices to allow for future growth of the company’s operations. Edwards brings more than 19 years of operations management experience to ASI, over half of which was spent in the industry at Trek Bicycles.
Elrath joined the team to head up the newly acquired Breezer Bikes brand. Elrath is working closely with Breezer founder, Joe Breeze, to develop the future of its transportation bikes. In addition, Elrath will assist Breezer in reintroducing his legendary mountain bikes, similar to those at the root of the sport.
DelBuono joins ASI to oversee the newly created product services team. He and his team will provide presence and support at event expositions, shop clinics, and other events across the country, as well as internally support the product development managers and processes.
James, shifting over from his warranty role at ASI, is now dedicated to ensuring compliance of all ASI products with the Consumer Product Safety Commission standards, and the regulatory environment at large.
