Softride Partners with The Hawley Company

Published November 26, 2008

BELLINGHAM, WA (BRAIN)—The Hawley Company will begin distributing Softride bike racks and towing products after the first of the year.

Softride has traditionally sold direct to dealers, however with the increasing freight charges, smaller orders weren’t cost effective for dealers to purchase.

Partnering with The Hawley Company will enable Softride dealers to order smaller quantities of racks on a regular basis with their other bike part orders.

“Hawley’s reputation as a consistently first-class distributor made them an obvious choice for Softride to partner with,” said Ryan Allsop, co-president of Softride. “The synergies created between our outside sales force and that of The Hawley Company will broaden the support and opportunities of our existing and new dealers.”

“We’re very excited to partner with such a long-established, quality vendor like Softride,” added Dave Carson, director of purchasing for The Hawley Company. “Their products are a unique blend of innovation, quality and value that our customers are always looking for. We look forward to building a strong relationship with old accounts as well as introducing many new accounts to this unique product line.”
