MILAN, Italy (BRAIN)—Sophia Loren, an icon of style and beauty and an Oscar-winning actress, will be present at the official opening of BikeAsia, EICMA officials said, adding that she will be a testimonial to Italian excellence.
BikeAsia, the first international bicycle and motorcycle show of Southeast Asia, is scheduled for April 10-13 in Singapore. Loren will be present on April 10 thanks to event co-organizer EICMA and ANCMA, the Italian association of bicycle and motorcycle manufacturers.
Loren, who is widely considered to be the most popular Italian actress of her time, will also be the guest of honor at an Italian Soiree promoted by the Italian Trade Commission office of Singapore. She also will visit the show and the historic exhibition of “made in Italy” two-wheelers set up by the commission.
Event organizers said BikeAsia will showcase some of Italy’s most prestigious brands including Aprilia, Adler, AGV, Brembo, Colnago, Ducati, Guzzi, MV, Nolan and Piaggio, among others.
