PORTLAND, OR (BRAIN)—It looks like Portland is going to be the handmade capital of the world over the next several months.
The Oregon Bicycle Constructors' Association has recently announced the first ever Oregon Handmade Bicycle Show on Sunday, November 11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Portland's Miller Hall at the World Forestry Center at Washington Park (next to the zoo). The show is open to the public and admission is $5.00 at the door.
You'll see some familiar names in the handmade business at the show including Pacenti Cycle Design, DeSalvo Custom Cycles and Ahearne Cycle just to name a few.
In February the North American Handmade Show comes to Portland for the first time.
