PORT COQUITLAM, British Columbia (BRAIN)—Norco Products recently announced the promotion of two long-time Norco employees.

David Overgaard has been promoted to vice president of bicycle division, and Martin Tammik has been promoted to vice president of merchandising.

Dave Overgaard graduated from UBC in 1986 with a Bachelors degree. Overgaard joined Norco in 1986 as a junior buyer, moved quickly into a position of product manager and became the bicycle division manager in 1999. Overgaard brings with him a lot of passion, experience and knowledge.

Martin Tammik completed his BSc degree in 1987 and worked with Pedlar Cycles in Toronto before joining Norco in 1990. Tammik started in the warehouse and moved into a position as a merchandising assistant shortly after. Through the 1990's Tammik served Norco as an after-market parts buyer and later as a soft goods buyer for clothing and gloves. In January 2000, Martin was promoted to division manager of parts and accessories. His key achievements while in that position include product and brand development within the Activa, Axiom and and Mace brands.
