PHOENIX (BRAIN) — Edco Engineering BV has announced that carbon innovator Paul Lew will join the Swiss component company as a partner. Lew will expand and build Edco’s line of cycling components, including its carbon and alloy wheels. He will work alongside CEO and owner Rob van Hoek, who purchased the company in 2007.

Former Vista Outdoor, BRG Sports and Nike exec starts at the power meter company in August.

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Stages Cycling has hired Bernie Doering from Vista Outdoor. Doering will head marketing and sales for Stages Cycling's outdoor business, a new position for the company, which sells power meter cranks for bikes as well as stationary bikes for the fitness club market.

SAN FRANCISCO  (BRAIN) — Timbuk2 has made four key executive appointments, saying the new hires signal "a new era in leadership" at the company. The new hires include Azul Couzens who was most recently the director of marketing at BRG Sports. Couzens is joining Timbuk2 as head of marketing.
